Our Lady, the Mother of God the Son, is given the name, Mother of Good Counsel, as she provides counsel to her children who seek to obey the one, true God in the one, true religion. It is a mystical reality that can never be spoken of enough, yet, often, the pious are very careful to mention that they enjoy this privilege. There is a evidence that the inspiration of such counsel is truly from her when it demonstrates
holy obedience. Holy obedience is the "fiat" to God, and one that places Him above all things, and secondly, to neighbor out of that first love. In loving God, it loves the Bride of Christ, and sees to build up the Church and not destroy, by defending its teachings, and giving true honor to God through due worship handed down by sacred tradition.
